Travel with respect, not spectacle
The Lower Omo Valley is one of Africa’s most culturally dense travel regions. Communities including Dorze, Hamar, Karo, Mursi, and Dasanech welcome carefully guided visits — when photography, tipping, and time are handled thoughtfully.
We reject extractive “checkbox” tourism. Our southern packages move slowly, work with local guides, and set clear expectations before village visits.
How southern itineraries usually flow
Many journeys open around Arba Minch (Dorze highlands, Lake Chamo boat rides), continue toward Turmi for Hamar and Karo country, and use Jinka as a base for Mago and Mursi visits when appropriate. Longer loops may include Konso, Yabello, or coffee highlands.
